Life story: The story of salt grains
A young man came to ask an old teacher. He is always pessimistic and complaining about difficulties. For him, life has only sadness, so learning is no more exciting.
Once, when the boy complained about his continuing education without progress, the teacher quietly listened and gave him a full spoonful of salt and a small glass of water.
– I put this salt in a glass of water and drink it.
Immediately, the man imitates as being guided.
– Mug of salt water. The boy answered.
The teacher led him to a nearby lake and poured one tablespoon of salt into the water:
– Now taste the water in the lake.
– The water in the lake is still the same, teacher.
It does not taste good at all – he said as he scooped some water under the lake and tasted it.
The teacher said slowly:
– My son, who sometimes have difficulties in life.
And those troubles are like salt spoons, but each one dissolves in a different way.
Those who have open minds are like a lake, sadness does not make them lose their joy and love.
But for souls as small as a cup of water, they will turn their lives into bitterness and never learn anything useful.
